Hey there, fellow adventurers! 🌍 We’re Aria and Liam, your time-traveling besties. Yes, you read that right: TIME-TRAVEL.

Our lives as regular 13-year-olds in Sommetville were pretty normal… until one day, Aria accidentally cracked open a portal to the past. (Liam’s still not sure if he should thank her or throttle her for that one! 😂)

So, what's the deal with us, you ask? Well, one moment we're acing, or at least, trying to ace, math quizzes, and the next, we're exploring mythical cities like Atlantis or dodging evil gods in Ancient Egypt. Trust me, it's as bonkers as it sounds! 🚀🕰️

We're all about facing unforeseen challenges, navigating through who-knows-what, and basically trying to save civilizations without messing up the timeline. It's a wild ride, but hey, someone's gotta do it! 🤷‍♀️🤷🏾‍♂️

Meet Your Time-Travel Guides

Meet Liam: my best friend and partner in crime!

He’s a thirteen-year-old kid from Sommetville who can code like a wizard, kick a soccer ball like a pro, and play the piano so well Beethoven would be speechless. (But seriously, don’t tell him I said that. His head’s big enough already!) When Liam’s not busy acing school, you can usually find him doing one of those things.

Unless, of course, I’ve got some wild idea to drag us into trouble. And let’s be honest, I usually do! Like the time I accidentally cracked open a portal to the past and launched us into our first adventure. (Liam’s still debating whether to thank me or throttle me for that one!)

Sure, my historical know-how has saved our butts a few times, but credit where credit’s due: Liam’s mad archery skills have been total lifesavers. Without him, we’d probably still be stuck in some medieval dungeon!

Now, we’re basically time-traveling heroes, saving civilizations and making sure history stays on track. And while Liam always pretends to freak out when we land in another time period, I know he secretly loves it.

Let me introduce you to my best friend, Aria.

She’s not your average thirteen-year-old. This girl is obsessed with history. Seriously, don’t even think about challenging her to a history quiz, she’ll beat you every single time. That’s why I call her the walking encyclopedia.

Aria’s all about living life to the fullest, even if it means breaking a few rules (which seems to happen a lot when I’m around, for some reason). But honestly, it’s her curiosity that got us into this whole time-traveling adventure in the first place.

We ended up in the Kingdom of Ramesses II, a place so old it makes my grandpa’s grandpa’s grandpa look young. When we were younger, she started calling me “my dear Liam,” saying it made us sound like we lived in some grandiose era of the past (her words, not mine!). I thought it was hilarious, so I followed suit and called her “my dear Aria.” Little did I know it would turn out to be a premonition of our time-traveling escapades!

At first, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about being dragged into the past whenever someone needed our help. But I’ll admit it’s kind of grown on me. Just, you know, don’t tell Aria I said that. She’ll never let me live it down.

How We Accidentally Became Besties

My friendship with Aria began the day we met under the willow tree in the neighborhood park. I was three years old and had just moved into a house a few streets away. It was my first visit to the park, and I found a cool, shady spot beneath the tree’s dense canopy of leaves.

While playing with my action figurines, I heard a noise from above. I looked up and was amazed to find a girl about my age—Aria—standing on one of the branches, too scared to climb down.

My father helped Aria down. As we walked back to the benches where Aria’s mom sat, I maintained a safe distance from her, as if the word trouble was stamped on her forehead.

But to my surprise, Aria didn’t get scolded by her mother. Not a single How many times have I told you not to climb trees?

That was just the beginning of our long friendship.

One wild situation after another followed, each more ridiculous than the last, and Aria always found a way to drag me into the mess with her.

But I wouldn’t change her for anything (this stays between us).

Sommetville Junior High School

Welcome to Sommetville Junior High, the coolest school around! We've got tons of friends here, though there may be a few oddballs like Oliver. But don't worry, even he turned out to be pretty cool after we went on a crazy Roman adventure together!

One thing we've learned in junior high school is that things can get a little crazy. Like that time in science class when our volcano experiment went way out of control and we had to evacuate the classroom! Or when we organized a surprise party for our friend's birthday and accidentally let it slip to the whole school. Oops!

Our teachers are mostly super nice, except for the one and only Mrs. Thompson. She's a bit of a tough cookie, so we always try our best not to get on her bad side. But, let's be real, sometimes trouble just finds us anyways. It's all part of the fun though, right?
